My father from Sheboygan, Wisconsin in the United States knew Rudolf and his father. Rudolf's daughter Julia once visited the Chicago, Illinois area and I was fortunate enough to meet up with her and then take her to see my father, Hugo Trilling, who was very fond of the family.
It is with a heavy heart that I find the news of Rudolf's passing.
